How to make prisons productive

Prisoners do labour.
Each hour of labour done gets them a token.
Tokens can be spent on food.

If a prisoner is capable of working, and refuses to work, they won't get any tokens.
If they dont get tokens they cant eat.
If they cant eat they will eventually die.

Co-product: Human corpse.
Human corpse + Fire --> Heat
Heat + Water --> Steam
Steam will cause alternator to generate AC current.
AC current will be sold or used by the prison facilities.

The work done by prisoners will create money, therefore paying off their debts to society.
