Once upon a time, Miss pandora set up a small shop on the corner of the London Street. There were many small wares displayed on the counter, such as jewelry, food, toys and so on. Among them, a pair of pandora braceletsattracted people’s attention. Everyday many people came and went out of the shop. But most of them just came to see the charming ones. Though they did not intend to buy anything, Miss Pandora never cared about this.
Miss Pandora was forty five. She was very kind and possessed a sympathetic heart. Most of her friends had married though they were not as good as Miss Pandora. As a matter of fact, she was eager to have a family.
One day, she found that a middle-aged man came to her shop three or four times a week. He wore a suit of black uniform. He spoke frequent English with a strong accent. His clothes were worn out, and there were some holes in the sleeves. But he still looked like a gentleman with good manners. He always bought two pandora beadswhich were made of rubber. They cost him ten dollars in all.
Once upon, Miss Pandora noticed that his fingers were hurt with some splits. She held an idea that he must be a struggling designer. There was a picture in her mind at once. She imagined that he lived in a little apartment which could just contain a bed. He carved the beads with a knife. He could not afford too many beads. Thus, he only bought two at a time. As soon as he amassed enough beads, he could connect them with a string. Then a pandora necklace took shape. Thinking about this, her sympathetic heart beat faster and faster.
In order to validate her guess as to his occupation, Miss Pandora bought some pandora charmsat a sale and hung them on the wall. It was patent to everyone that they were designed carelessly. The so-called gems were made of plastic.
Three days later, the man came in again. There was no doubt that he had noticed the charms. “You have some beautiful charms, Madame,” he said. Miss Pandora was very excited. She said: “I do so admire designing. They are magnum opuses, aren’t they?” “Well, to be honest, they are not in good designing. Good afternoon. Madam,” he said.
The man got out of the shop with the beads. Miss Pandora hurried to take back the charms. How gentle the man looked! Looking at the view of his back, tears flowed down from her face out of control. It was pity to see his poverty. Obviously, Miss Pandora had fallen in love with him. She set up her mind to help him go through the trouble.
One day, she bought a pair of pandora earrings from the biggest shopping hall. She put on her beautiful dress and waited for the customer. At noon, he came in as usual. There was no doubt that he called for two Pandora beads again.
Miss Pandora indeed wanted to help him. She bought a big pandora crystal, and hired a designer to cut it into two pieces. In the end, she substituted the precious beads for the original ones. The man took away the beads with great satisfactory. Miss Pandora smiled to herself.
However, the next day, the man came back angrily. He shouted to her that she had ruined his life. In fact, the man was a stylist on architecture. He finished his opus in the preceding evening. He made his drawing in pencil first. Then he would wipe the lines with the soft beads. But the hard crystal had broken the paper.
Miss Pandora’s face turned red at once. She realized that she had made a mistake. She went into the back room and took off her dress. At last, she sat in front of the counter again as if nothing had happened.
