i just posted this... cos i wondered how ppls experience was the same as mine way back lol
im 18 now but i was bout 12 at the time
i remember... back at skl... there were trendys and greebos and skaters (and obvs the goths and punks tho i never came across them back at my skl)
but we all mixed.. we were all mainly greebos and skaters and we all hanged out n had aload of laughs then i moved to another skl..
over summer hols things seemed normal.... apart from i hear of this new word.... chavs?
then i start my new skl.... year 8... lots of greebs but... afew chavs? (WTFS?! A CHAV?!)
as time passed these greebo became chavs..... my own friends became one of them.. and suddenly i was the enemy?! :S
i was the only greebo left... and from what i learnt from my old friends... the old gang from my old skl became chavs
during the same period of time in my home town milton keynes... people use to gather down the tree(mid summers place)... goths,greebos,skaters,punks... all met up and anyone was welcome cos it was a very sociable time untill.. the chavs... the started causing problems for them.... some of them even became chavs (like some sorta virus :S).. then because of the problems ppl were banned from grouping and hangin out around that area in large groups.....
....then scene kids appeared... when the goths,grebs,punks and skaters moved to a new areas all these new stuck up scene kids thought they were cool by hangin round wid em... thats when it stopped being sociable.. cos the goths,punk,skaters,grebs,got pissed off wid em... and stopped hangin out... now its just scene kids that dont wanna socialize with everyone else cos they think they are too cool for it
to end the story... i randomly saw my old best mate from skl he had become a chav and i hadnt.. so he jumped me
....i sit at the tree waitin to meet mates and i see no goths... no greebos....no skaters....no punks.. just chavs and scene kids walkin past me... sizing me up like im some sorta threat... yet i never course harm to them...
just.. aint it funny how much time has changed..the ones who use to be like me decided to follow fashion and hate me cos i stay true to myself... i wouldnt mind cos i know there are chavs out there who are acturly nice ppl (tho they look like chavs... just cos they are nice ppl i dont tend to class em as chavs) but 99% of chavs seems to hate us... so they hate who they use to be? haha britain has gone down hill -.- all cos the chav infestation has reached all corners of this small island
im probs gunna get the piss taken out of me for this post (its my first on this site) but.... maybe some1 who reads it would know what im talking bout
